Executive Assistant
Summary: He/she provides administrative support to the Executive Director, SASH Program Manager and Board of Directors. Provides oversight of grant database and acts as main contact for LeadingAge Vermont on behalf of the Executive Director.
Qualifications: Must possess an Associate’s Degree in Business or other related field and at least three to five years of general administrative experience supporting an executive director or similar position. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with frequent interruption is required. Must possess a customer service orientation and the ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with others. Must have experience operating standard business equipment. A high proficiency with the MS Office Suite is required, must be able to type at least 40 wpm.

Resident Assistant – Per Diem
Summary: The Resident Assistant assists residents who are functionally, physically or socially impaired and who need 24-hour oversight. He/she is responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living (eating, transfers, toileting, bed mobility, dressing, bathing and ambulation). He/she is also responsible for providing medication to residents and assisting the Resident Service Coordinator with conducting resident activities.
Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. LNA certification is preferred. Prior work experience as a nursing assistant or aide to people who are elderly or disabled is preferred. Must be able to think, act and intervene appropriately in both routine and emergency situations. Must possess good interpersonal communication skills and be able to relate to a wide variety of people. Must be able to communicate effectively in writing. Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in the work environment, including scheduling changes and work assignments. He/she will have exposure to body fluids, infection and odors and behavior of residents. Must be able to lift/push up to 50 pounds and walk four miles daily. Must be able to lift, carry, stand, bend, squat, crawl, reach and kneel using good body mechanics for sustained periods of time.

SASH Coordinator
Summary: The primary function of the Support and Services at Home (SASH) Coordinator is to build trusting relationships with participants in SASH in order to develop a thorough knowledge of the each SASH participant’s strengths and challenges as they pertain to remaining safely in his or her home. The SASH Coordinator convenes the on-site SASH team on a regular basis to coordinate care and services to meet the needs of SASH participants. The goal of the SASH model is to enhance the coordination of person-centered health and wellness services in order to assist residents to remain in their homes as their health and functional needs change.
Qualifications: Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Social Work or equivalent combination of background and experience. Previous experience coordinating services specifically for the senior or adult with disability client population is preferred. Knowledge of area resources and programs available to seniors and adults with disabilities, including transportation, health services, and recreational activities is essential. Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication is required. Must have knowledge of and an appreciation for the heritage, values, and wisdom of each resident and a commitment to the philosophy of a person’s choice to age at home. Must possess a valid driver’s license. A working knowledge of MSWord and Publisher is highly desirable.

Volunteer Coordinator
Summary: The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and directing Cathedral Square’s Volunteer Program with a specific focus on facilitating the volunteer resources needed for the Support And Services at Home (SASH) program. The Volunteer Coordinator will work closely with Cathedral Square’s SASH staff to identify the needs and gaps in support that present obstacles to our residents to remain safely at home that could be filled by qualified volunteers. The primary responsibilities are to recruit volunteers, actively engage religious, service, business, and educational groups about volunteer opportunities, respond to inquiries regarding volunteer opportunities, conduct interviews with potential volunteers, provide trainings, support and engage existing volunteer base, create public awareness of opportunities available, and plan and coordinate regular volunteer recognition events. This position is also responsible for coordinating resident transportation needs and overseeing our volunteer bus drivers.
Qualifications: Must possess a Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of background and experience. Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills are essential. Previous experience coordinating volunteer services and facilitating partnerships with community organizations is preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Shift Leader, Resident Assistant
Summary: The Shift Leader, RA for the evening shift is able to perform all the duties of the RA, but has additional responsibilities including: Acts as the primary medication passer for this shift and is not assigned a resident care group. The Shift Leader oversees resident care as per the group sheets, the individual nursing care plans and daily nursing report. He/she maintains contact with the nurse-on-call if there is a significant change in any resident’s condition, receives reports from the RA staff and adds any significant changes or events to the daily nursing report and delegates tasks as appropriate.

Occupancy and Compliance Specialist
Summary: The Occupancy and Compliance Specialist is responsible for processing paperwork to verify residents meet regulatory set-aside requirements of the property, processing residential payments including checks, money orders and electronic fund transfers, and working with applicants and processing move in paperwork and re-certifications. Job responsibilities include interviewing housing applicants/residents and preparing data for entry into Property Management software regarding Occupancy (Move In, Interim and Annual Re-certifications), and working with residents or site staff on payment plans and repayment agreements. Assists with resident records documentation to comply with appropriate affordable housing regulations. He/she will perform housing re-certification which will require traveling to Cathedral Square communities and meeting with residents.
Qualifications: Must have an Associates Degree or equivalent experience. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills. The ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and communicate well with residents is critical. Experience with MSWord and Excel are required. Knowledge of housing regulations and prior work with databases is preferred. Must possess excellent customer service skills, a valid Vermont driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Resident Manager:
Summary: He/she is responsible for providing on-call coverage during his/her shift at our property located in South Burlington, Vermont. He/she will be respond to resident concerns or issues during the evening on-call shift perform basic maintenance of building and grounds and provide general building security. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and good communication skills. The ability to respond to emergency situations appropriately is a must. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. In exchange for services, the Resident Manager receives free rent and basic utilities on a one-bedroom apartment in the building he/she manages.
