Creating the Future for Aging in Vermont
• LeadingAge Vermont (LAVT) is made up of independent elder housing providers, assisted living residences, residential care homes, and continuing care retirement communities in all parts of the state. Our common agenda is to promote thoughtful people-centered long-term care policy decisions in Vermont.
• Our mission is to create an integrated network of long term care services for all in Vermont, supporting the ability of seniors and persons with a disability to remain in their community of choice.
• LeadingAge Vermont (LAVT) is our state's affiliate. Our national partner, LeadingAge, is an association of 6,000 not for profit organizations dedicated to expanding the world of possibilities for aging. Together, we advance policies, promote practices and conduct research that supports, enables and empowers people to live fully as they age.
