Independent Senior Housing

Cathedral Square Corporation manages sixteen independent living communities with sizes ranging from 14 to 122 units. Most communities offer spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments, most with wall-to-wall carpeting and window blinds. CSC partners with residents to initiate a variety of programs and activities at our communities including gardening, dancing, bingo and exercise programs. On-site staff assist residents with access to resources and programs designed to help them age with dignity and grace. Any resident requiring more assistance with activities of daily living will receive priority admission to our shared and assisted living residences.

Shared Housing

Shared Housing offers unique, private rooms with baths in a home-like setting, where residents share three meals per day prepared on-site and served in the common dining room. Other amenities include an on-site resident manager, activities and housekeeping services. This type of housing promotes independence through interdependence and is ideal for those seeking a social and family-like atmosphere.

Assisted Living

Cathedral Square Assisted Living, our licensed assisted living residence, offers private apartments with accessible bath and kitchenette in a convenient setting in downtown Burlington. Residents enjoy the privacy of their own apartments and their own furnishings with the comfort of knowing that personal care services are available 24 hours a day from our specially trained staff, including assistance with bathing, dressing and medication management.

Amenities include: three meals per day served in our dining room, beauty salon, daily activities and transportation. The location of Cathedral Square Assisted Living provides stunning views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks, access to shopping and restaurants and is within 1.5 miles of Fletcher Allen Health Care.

Regardless of which category of housing, all our communities include the following amenities:
