Cathedral Square Corporation (CSC) is a non-profit, state-wide organization, created in 1977 by the Cathedral Church of St. Paul. Our mission is to develop, manage or own housing and provide community services that promote the health and well-being of elders, low income persons and persons with disabilities.

CSC’s Culture
At CSC our employees come from diverse backgrounds. We offer a flexible, casual, family-friendly environment where employee opinions are valued. Company-wide staff meetings are held every other month to keep staff up to date. Our employee newsletter, The Square Scoop, keeps employees updated on current events in the organization and recognizes employee achievements as well. The Employee Social Committee plans employee events, theme days and employee discounts to promote fun and a sense of spirit in the workplace.

Executive Assistant/Housing Specialist
Summary: Acts as the primary contact for persons calling or visiting CSC’s main office, provides traditional administrative support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the office for assigned Executive Staff, provides Board support, maintains property wait list information and responds to requests regarding housing vacancies.

Homemaker Service Provider
Summary: Performs a variety of cleaning duties in resident apartments. The service includes vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, dusting, laundry and other cleaning services as needed. Good people skills are required as the Homemaker is constantly communicating with residents and working in their homes.

Resident Assistant
The Resident Assistant assists residents who are functionally, physically or socially impaired and who need 24-hour oversight. He/she is responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living (eating, transfers, toileting, bed mobility, dressing, bathing and ambulation). He/she is also responsible for providing medication to residents and assisting the Resident Service Coordinator with conducting resident activities.

Resident Service Coordinator
Summary: The Resident Service Coordinator is responsible for enhancing resident quality of life through the development, promotion, and coordination of a variety of activities, programs, and services for residents. The Resident Service Coordinator offers programs that will enhance resident’s independence, self-direction and dignity, and encourages resident participation. The Coordinator directs and supervises resident volunteers in the provision of activities and programs developed by the Coordinator. He/she is also responsible for supporting the development of a sense of community.
