It is centrally situated in a small rural community, located within minutes from Vermont's largest city, Burlington, with extensive shopping, restaurants, cultural events and entertainment. Residents of Holy Cross cultivate beautiful gardens in raised beds, socialize in the outdoor gazebo, and access Colchester's extensive network of walking and nature paths.

Holy Cross Senior Housing opened in 1997 on land donated by Holy Cross Church in the Catholic Diocese of Burlington. The community is designed to meet the needs of seniors with a wide range of incomes.
