Cathedral Square Corporation (CSC) is a non-profit organization that owns and manages properties for seniors in Burlington, Colchester, Essex Junction, Jericho, Richmond, St. Albans, Waterbury, and Williston. While each community is unique, all Cathedral Square properties combine excellent supportive services and a caring staff. CSC offers three different types of senior housing, which provide increasing levels of services: independent senior housing, shared housing, & assisted living.

Regardless of which category of housing, all of our communities includes the following amenities:
• Resident services coordination
• 24 Hour Emergency system
• Laundry facilities
• Accessible units
• All utilities included in rent except telephone, cable television, and Internet service
• Building and grounds maintenance

Independent Senior Housing

CSC manages more than eleven independent senior communities throughout Chittenden County, with sizes ranging from fourteen to 112 units. All communities offer spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments, most with wall-to-wall carpeting and window blinds. CSC partners with residents to initiate a variety of programs and activities at our communities, including gardening, dancing, bingo, and exercise programs. On-site staff assists residents to access resources and programs designed to help them age with dignity and grace. Any resident requiring more assistance with activities of daily living will receive priority admission to our shared housing and assisted living residences.

Shared Housing

Shared Housing offers unique, private rooms with baths in a home-like setting where residents share three meals per day prepared by a chef and served in the common dining room. Other amenities include an on-site resident manager, activities, transportation, and housekeeping services. This type of housing promotes independence through interdependence, and is ideal for those seeking a social and family-like atmosphere.

Cathedral Square Senior Living, our assisted living licensed facility, offers private apartments with accessible bath & kitchenette in a convenient setting in downtown Burlington. Residents enjoy the privacy of their own apartment and their own furnishings, with the comfort of knowing that personal care services are available 24 hours per day from our specially trained staff, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and medication reminders. Amenities include: three meals per day served in our dining room, housekeeping services, Wellness Center, whirlpool room, Beauty Salon, daily activities, and transportation. The location of Cathedral Square Senior Living provides stunning views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks, access to shopping and restaurants, and within 1.5 miles of Fletcher Allen Hospital.
